Job summary

JORDAN FOSTER CONSTRUCTION in El Paso, TX seeks an Assistant Superintendent to support the Superintendent and Project Managers in safely delivering projects, maintaining quality, and driving schedule adherence on site.

You will coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and inspectors, conduct daily site walks, attend safety meetings, and help with logistics and documentation to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret design drawings and specifications.
• Understand the scheduling process for multiple trades.
• Supervisory construction experience is preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing safety, quality, and schedule on projects.
• Coordinate with client, construction manager, project team, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Ensure adherence to JFC safety culture and standards.
• Interact with inspectors, owners, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Perform daily job site walks and safety audit reports.
• Attend safety meetings and project staff meetings.
• Assist with setting up site logistics and project schedule.
• Review project documents for constructability and content.
