Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to work in the field at client sites across the United States. The role covers field engineering, site administration, estimating, scheduling, safety adherence, and technical direction on assigned projects.

You will support site leadership, manage subcontractors, and ensure drawings and specifications are followed while maintaining records and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 9+ years of relevant field experience.
• Associate degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field operations with site construction lead for scheduling and daily/quality reports.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and drawing compliance.
• Maintain project schedule and escalate delays to management.
• Prepare daily, quality and progress reports and capture site photos.
• Support monthly progress reporting and ensure latest drawings are used.
• Assist Project Construction Manager and coordinate contractor communications.
