Job summary

Amazon seeks a Construction Safety Manager to lead H&S across field construction projects in Maryland and Virginia. The role collaborates with Real Estate, Due Diligence, Permitting, Energy, and Construction teams to implement the Safety Management Program and ensure regulatory compliance.

The position requires 4+ years in compliance or related fields, plus a background in food safety and quality within large-scale environments. Travel to domestic sites is possible as projects progress.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in compliance program management or equivalent.
• 3+ years managing food safety and quality in large-scale retail/manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal grocery retail regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support H&S programs across field construction projects in MD/VA.
• Partner with Real Estate, Permitting, Construction, and Procurement teams.
• Engage with General Contractors and AWS suppliers on H&S expectations.
• Deploy AWS Safety Management Program requirements and audits.
• Report progress in Weekly/Monthly Reviews to leadership.
