Job summary

The H&K Group, Inc. is seeking a Construction Safety Specialist to support heavy civil and highway projects across Eastern PA, NJ, and DE. The role supervises safety on job sites, enforces policies, and partners with operations to promote a culture of safety.

Candidates should have at least 5+ years in construction safety, relevant degrees, OSHA 500 card, and BCSP credentials. The company offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to advance within a growing contractor.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct construction safety oversight experience.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in occupational safety and health or related field.
• OSHA 500 Card for Outreach Trainer Authorization.

Responsibilities

• Inspects job sites to detect hazards and documents findings.
• Conducts root cause analysis of incidents and implements preventive measures.
• Collects incident reports and liaises with regulators.
• Develops and delivers safety training to improve practices.
• Supports regulatory audits and ensures corrective actions.
• Communicates with field safety and management daily.
• Performs industrial hygiene surveys and PPE determinations.
• Maintains documents and records.
• Other duties as assigned.
