Qualifications

  • 5+ years of construction safety experience required, preferably heavy civil construction.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and risk management principles.
  • Ability to lead, train, and coordinate safety initiatives with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site safety inspections to ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
  • Lead hazard identification, abatement planning, and follow-up actions.
  • Prepare safety reports and communicate findings to field management.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and drug screening processes.
  • Monitor subcontractor safety programs and suggest improvements.
  • Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and incident investigations.
  • Track injuries and progress, and support insurance audits.
