Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Quality Manager I to own the quality control program for a single project. You will maintain the ITP, schedule and witness tests, and produce daily QC reports while coordinating with the superintendent and engineer of record.

This role starts with a strong inspector moving into a managerial position, with sponsored training to advance to Quality Manager II over larger programs. Expect long days aligned with the construction schedule and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing or QC.
• At least one of the listed certifications.
• Able to read specifications and drawings.
• Direct, organized, and able to tell a superintendent that a lift does not pass.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project ITP and the testing frequency log against the specifications.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests.
• Verify certifications of the technicians performing tests.
• Write the daily quality control report and meeting records (three-phase).
• Open, track, and close nonconformance reports with the superintendent and engineer of record.
• Keep submittal, mix design, and material certification files audit-ready.
