Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager I to own the quality control program on a single project. You will supervise the inspection and test plan, schedule tests, witness field and lab work, and maintain daily QC records while coordinating with the engineer and superintendent.

You must be able to read specifications, interpret drawings, and communicate hard findings to ensure compliance. Travel to project sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing, special inspection, or contractor QC.
• Ability to read specifications and drawings and turn them into a test schedule.
• Direct, organized and able to tell a superintendent that a lift does not pass.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan and the testing frequency log against the specifications.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests; verify technician certifications.
• Open, track, and close nonconformance reports with the superintendent and engineer of record.
