Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering and construction support at client project sites. You will supervise subcontractors, maintain daily and quality control reports, and ensure drawings and schedules are followed.

This role is 100% field-based with travel across the United States. Candidates should have degrees in Construction Management or related fields and relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with relevant field experience or higher education.
• Associate degree plus six years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three years of relevant experience; degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist site construction lead with field operations including scheduling, daily reports, quality control, conformance to drawings and specifications, and communication with subcontractors.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings.
• Ensure work adheres to project schedule; escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare and review Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports with site leadership.
• Take progress photographs and label them for record keeping.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revision.
• Assist Project Construction Manager as needed.
