Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Construction Materials and Testing (CMT) Technician to ensure quality and safety on construction projects. You will collect material samples from sites, conduct tests, document results, and communicate findings to project managers.

Travel to sites and work in varied terrain and weather is required. You will use a company truck, receive PPE, a laptop, and cell phone reimbursement; full training and mentorship are provided to develop hands-on expertise with seasoned

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in construction observation, inspection, testing, or related field.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving history.
• Associate degree from a technical or four-year school preferred but not required.
• ACI Grade 1, ICC Nuclear Gauge, or applicable DOT certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collect construction materials samples from various sites.
• Perform tests and inspections to assess material properties and integrity.
• Document findings and communicate results to project managers and stakeholders.
