Job summary

Olsson is seeking a driven and detail-oriented individual to join our Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Team. This role conducts routine laboratory testing of construction materials, prepares specimens, and supports quality control under senior staff.

Ideal candidate has 1 to 5 years in CMT labs with soils and aggregates, is eager to obtain technician certifications, and understands AMRL accreditation; prior lab or construction experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 to 5 years of construction materials testing experience, preferably in a lab environment with soils and aggregates testing.
• Willingness to pursue and obtain technician certifications.
• Understanding of AMRL accreditation and its importance in maintaining high standards in construction materials testing.
• Experience in a laboratory setting or construction environment is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine laboratory testing of construction materials.
• Prepare specimens for testing with attention to detail.
• Uphold high standards of quality control under the guidance of senior technical staff.
• Pursue technician certifications through respected industry organizations such as the ACI.
• Collaborate with team to ensure accurate, timely results.
