Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Lab Technician in Omaha, NE to join our CMT team. You will conduct routine laboratory testing on concrete, soil, and asphalt, prepare specimens, and ensure quality control with guidance from senior staff.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years in a CMT lab, is eager to pursue technician certifications, and values accuracy and safety. This on-site role offers training, mentorship, and opportunities to contribute to community projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–5 years of construction materials testing experience in a lab preferred.
• Willingness to pursue technician certifications.
• Understanding of AMRL accreditation and its importance in CMT.
• Experience in a laboratory setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine laboratory testing of construction materials (concrete, soil, asphalt).
• Meticulously prepare specimens for testing.
• Uphold high quality control standards under senior staff guidance.
