Job summary

Vantage Consulting is seeking a Construction Manager to drive field execution for mission-critical data center projects across Frederick, MD and other locations. You will lead day-to-day field coordination, manage subcontractors, and partner with the GC, client, engineering and project management teams to ensure on-time, safe completion.

Experience in complex electrical, mechanical, low-voltage or similar environments is valued; relocation support and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Significant construction field experience.
• Experience coordinating complex construction activities.
• Excellent understanding of construction sequencing.
• Strong safety awareness.
• Experience working directly with GCs, clients and project teams.
• Some understanding of change orders, scope changes and commercial processes.
• Previous data center experience beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field coordination across major projects.
• Manage subcontractors and trade partners.
• Work directly with GC and client.
• Drive schedule, quality and safe execution.
• Identify field issues, scope gaps and potential change orders.
• Feed site information back into engineering and project management.
• Support projects from construction through testing and handover.
