Orbital Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager to support Asset Integrity program execution for a local client in Detroit, MI.

You will lead day-to-day field execution of repair activities, connecting asset condition assessments with repair implementation. As Orbital’s on-site representative, you will coordinate field teams, contractors, and client personnel to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project goals, schedules, budgets, and quality

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or equivalent in Construction Management/Engineering Technology.
• Experience coordinating field repair and industrial projects.
• Ability to manage crews, schedules, and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate field execution of repair and construction projects.
• Serve as the primary field point of contact for scope, safety, and client expectations.
• Plan and coordinate daily field operations, logistics, and sequencing.
• Track progress, budgets, and schedule performance; report risks.
• Support outage and shutdown execution as needed.
• Coordinate activities across structural, mechanical, civil, and asset integrity scopes.
• Assist with mobilization, field logistics, and work sequencing.
• Monitor repair progress and adherence to targets.
• Serve as field liaison among clients, inspectors, and engineering teams.
• Verify repairs per drawings and quality requirements.
