RowanEDC Partnership is seeking a Construction Maintenance Worker to perform semiskilled construction, maintenance and repair tasks on public facilities. You will operate a range of equipment under supervision and assist with pipe installation, drainage and street work.

The role requires ability to lift heavy items, read and write, and follow instructions; a Class A CDL within one year is required, with on-call and potential overtime per policy.

Formación

• High school or GED preferred; relevant motorized equipment experience encouraged.
• Ability to perform manual labor under varying weather conditions.
• Ability to read and write; basic math skills.
• Must be able to obtain CDL-A within one year in NC; maintain it thereafter.

Responsabilidades

• Perform semiskilled tasks in construction, maintenance and repair of public facilities.
• Operate equipment including dump trucks, mowers, chainsaws and concrete mixers.
• Load/haul materials, install pipes and repair water/sewer lines as needed.
• Assist in pothole filling, right-of-way cleaning, and vegetation control.
• Contribute to erosion control, traffic setup, and general site restoration.
• Support vehicle/equipment maintenance and snow/ice removal tasks.
