Job summary

Unknown Construction Organization in Kannapolis, NC is seeking a Construction Maintenance Worker to perform semiskilled tasks across maintenance, repair, and public facilities projects. You will report to the Crew Chief and work under general supervision to monitor progress and KPIs.

Responsibilities include operating trucks and equipment, laying pipe, repairing water/sewer lines, pothole filling, road maintenance, erosion control, and assisting in snow removal.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred and minimal experience in the operation of motorized equipment.
• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods and under varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Performs semiskilled construction, maintenance, and repair tasks for public facilities.
• Operates equipment such as dump trucks, mowers, chain saws, and concrete mixers.
• Installs and repairs water and sewer lines and related facilities; assists with pipe installations.
• Assists with pothole repair, erosion control, and landscaping; cleans catch basins and manholes.
• Assists with traffic control, setting up work zones, and snow removal.
• Maintains and repairs vehicles and equipment; adheres to safety and DOT regulations.
