Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day field leadership and oversight of all onsite construction activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, and field crews to maintain the project schedule.
• Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with project requirements, drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Lead daily coordination of work areas, access, sequencing, and upcoming activities.
• Monitor field progress and identify potential schedule, manpower, material, or coordination issues before they impact the project.
• Coordinate closely with the Project Manager, project controls team, engineering, commissioning, and other project stakeholders.
• Verify subcontractors have the manpower, materials, equipment, and information required to execute their work.
• Support short-term planning and development of weekly and multi-week look-ahead schedules.
• Participate in construction, coordination, scheduling, safety, and progress meetings as required.
• Maintain awareness of RFIs, submittals, design changes, and field conditions that may affect construction.
• Track completion of field work, inspections, testing, punch list items, and turnover activities.
• Maintain accurate field documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, photographs, and significant project issues.
• Escalate potential delays, safety concerns, quality issues, and conflicts to project leadership in a timely manner.
• Support project turnover and closeout through completion, commissioning, and final acceptance.
