KFI Engineers in St. Paul, MN, seeks a Field Representative to support Industrial, Process and Agribusiness projects. You will coordinate communications between the project team, client, general contractor, subs, and vendors on design, construction, and on-site activities.

The role requires at least 10 years of field experience, willingness to travel and stay on site for weeks, strong communication, and the ability to troubleshoot field issues while ensuring quality and timely decisions.

Responsibilities

• Engage in design review, cost estimating, construction planning, scheduling, and equipment procurement.
• Ensure full documentation for the project is distributed to stakeholders.
• Monitor the work of all contractors and subs to meet standards.
• Attend construction meetings representing client and KFI needs.
• Gather field information to assist the team.
• Research root causes of problems and implement solutions.
• Inspect equipment and observe testing.
• Review and clarify construction documents as needed.
• Communicate with staff to expedite issue resolution.
• Other duties as assigned.
