Job summary

K&A Power Group seeks a Field Construction Manager for projects in the Boston/Worcester, MA area. You will lead day-to-day field construction across civil and electrical scopes, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence, and coordinate with management, engineers, and utility partners.

Ideal candidates have substantial substations experience and strong leadership with knowledge of MA codes and field problem solving.

Qualifications

• Provide day to day field construction management for substation and underground transmission projects.
• Oversee civil and electrical construction activities and ensure safety and quality.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to support field decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil site development, excavation, drainage and foundations.
• Coordinate substation equipment installation and grounding systems.
• Monitor safety, quality, schedule, and contractor performance.
• Communicate status, risks and decisions to project leadership.
