Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Superintendent to oversee the successful completion of field construction on our solar, storage, and high voltage projects. This full-time on-site role is based in Flagstaff, AZ and will require travel to job sites nationwide during the project lifecycle.

You will manage direct reports and subcontractors, build strong relationships with owners and stakeholders, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Engineering/construction management or architectural degree, or equivalent experience.
• Prefer 8 years of field construction experience at a supervisory level.
• Prefer 3 years in utility-scale solar projects.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, regulations, and safety standards (OSHA, NFPA 70E, NEC).
• Strong knowledge of job scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control.
• Reading specifications for all trades; effective on-site coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage direct reports and subcontractors to ensure project success.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and coordinate the regional field construction team.
• Develop relationships with project owners, architects, and stakeholders.
• Enforce safety procedures and participate in Safety Training Program.
• Maintain CPM schedules and coordinate with teams to meet milestones.
• Support estimating with on-site observations to improve cost competitiveness.
• Prepare reports such as time sheets, logs, and punch lists.
• Chair or attend regular subcontractor meetings and drive issue resolution.
