Job summary

Chevron Corp. is seeking a Construction Representative to provide day-to-day field oversight of safety, quality, and productivity during project execution at the Pasadena, TX site.

The role balances job owner responsibilities with collaboration across the Construction Services team to align refinery priorities with field work. The position requires leadership, effective communication, and a track record of expanding responsibilities in field-implemented projects.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated communication skills (verbal and written).
• Leadership and self-motivation are required.
• History of increasing responsibility in field execution as Planner/Company Representative or similar.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of assigned area, facilities, and related equipment.
• Collaborate to identify, prioritize, plan, and execute scope.
• Coordinate with Planning and Scheduling Team Lead on cost and schedule estimates.
• Mentor and support field personnel and contractors.
• Ensure safety rules, training, and refinery standards are followed.
• Manage work order development and closeouts in Maximo.
• Oversee contractor-executed scope and ensure permits are obtained.
