Job summary

Speedwell Construction, Inc. is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee daily on-site operations for multiple projects in Huntersville, NC.

You will lead subcontractors, enforce safety protocols, and ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role requires coordinating field activities, managing RFI processes, and maintaining rigorous progress reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• OSHA 10-hour certification; OSHA 30-hour preferred.
• Experience leading field crews and managing multiple subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities of 20+ subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to keep work on critical path.
• Ensure subcontractors comply with scope of work and correct deficiencies.
• Lead preconstruction and progress meetings to align teams on schedule and expectations.
• Perform regular quality control checks to meet design specs and company standards.
• Identify field conflicts and communicate resolutions to the project team.
• Manage RFI and material submittals with the project team.
• Maintain accurate daily progress reports using company software.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, permits, and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site.
• Enforce OSHA regulations and Safety Standards with subcontractors.
