Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required.
• PM certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in industrial/construction management.
• 3+ years supporting projects in regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing contractors, field execution, and capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of safety programs, permit-to-work, and EHS requirements.
• Proficient in Procore, Primavera or MS Project; AutoCAD/Civil 3D helpful.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field construction activities and contractor performance.
• Conduct field inspections for design, safety and quality compliance.
• Coordinate schedules, manpower loading, and site logistics.
• Lead contractor safety meetings, pre-task planning, and permit-to-work coordination.
• Identify and resolve field issues, changes, and schedule impacts.
• Coordinate outages and shutdowns to minimize operational disruptions.
• Monitor progress and provide status updates to leadership.
• Verify punch-list completion, mechanical completion and turnover docs.
• Promote Abbott EHS requirements and safety culture.
