Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a field operations professional to join the project team at a site in Phoenix, AZ. You will coordinate site activities, supervise subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings and schedules.

You will prepare official reports, document progress, and support the Project Construction Manager with contract extras and client communications. Prior construction experience is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of construction or field operations experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of construction or field operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor's degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate overall field operations with the site construction lead.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety and quality.
• Ensure work adheres to project schedule and drawings.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports as official project records.
• Take progress photos and label each photograph.
• Support Monthly Progress Reports with the Project Construction Manager.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revision.
