Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is looking for a field operations coordinator for a Phoenix, AZ project site. You will work with the site construction lead to manage scheduling, reporting, quality control, and subcontractor communication, ensuring safety and conformance to drawings.

You will oversee subcontractors, maintain project records, and update progress reports while ensuring latest drawing revisions are used.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of construction or field operations experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of construction or field operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor’s degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field operations with site construction lead, including scheduling, daily reporting, quality control, and subcontractor communication.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction activities to ensure safety, quality, and conformance with drawings and specs.
• Ensure adherence to project schedule; escalate delays to Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports; maintain official project records.
• Capture progress photos and label them accordingly; assist with Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure use of latest design drawing revisions; support Project Construction Manager as needed.
• May supervise key trades/subcontractors and assist with contract extras and progress payments.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent plus nine years of construction or field operations experience
