Job summary

ARCO Design/Build invites you to join our internship/co‑op program as a Superintendent Intern, where you’ll observe and assist on active projects under seasoned field leaders, gaining hands-on exposure to field operations from mobilization to closeout.

You’ll participate in safety meetings, scheduling coordination, quality inspections, plan reviews, and daily progress reporting while learning how office and field teams collaborate to deliver projects safely and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in accredited program as listed.
• Driver's License.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethics.
• Previous Co‑op or intern experience in construction preferred, but not required.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to the full lifecycle of a project while working with experienced professionals.
• Participate in field operations, safety meetings, and progress documentation.
• Assist with scheduling, coordination, and quality inspections to ensure work meets plans.
• Attend meetings and review drawings with superintendents; learn plan and drawing review.
• Conduct site walks and learn how field teams communicate and solve challenges.
