CME Associates is seeking a Construction Special Inspector to perform essential inspections and material testing on high-profile projects in the Greater Rochester area. Join a team focused on quality and safety across soils, concrete, and geotechnical testing.

Ideal candidates hold an HS Diploma, with Civil Engineering or Geology degrees preferred, and ICC/ACI certifications. This full-time role requires commuting to sites and maintaining accurate field documentation.

Qualifications

• Read construction drawings and specifications accurately.
• Maintain effective communication with project managers and stakeholders.
• Prepare field data records and reports daily.
• Complete continuous education for ACI/ICC certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests and inspections for soils, concrete, asphalt, reinforced concrete, masonry, and related systems.
• Interpret test results and report findings clearly and concisely.
• Record and report test results; ensure compliance with established standards.
• Communicate regularly with project managers and field staff.
• Prepare for and complete continuing education for ACI and ICC certifications.
