Job summary

Corporate Environmental Risk Management, L.L.C. is seeking a Construction Inspector to oversee all phases of roadway, utility, and building site inspections.

You will ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, and safety regulations, including indoor air quality and hazardous material abatement when applicable. You will document inspection results, prepare detailed reports, and maintain records while coordinating with architects, engineers, testing labs, contractors, owners, and the public to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of roadway construction methods and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
• 2 years of experience inspecting utilities, electrical, waterline and roadway construction.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of roadway construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Monitor materials and workmanship to verify quality standards are met, including soil compaction, asphalt paving, concrete placement, and drainage systems.
• Document inspection results, prepare detailed reports, and maintain accurate records of construction progress and deviations from specifications.
• Communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, and project managers to address and resolve construction issues or non-compliance.
• Ensure adherence to environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements throughout the construction process.
• Perform other duties as required
