Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Full-time Construction Inspector in Charlotte, NC, to support the Construction Management team. You will examine plans, quantities, and schedules, and assist senior inspectors in testing, surveying, and data collection on road and bridge projects.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 3 years of inspection experience (EI eligible), and the ability to obtain multiple certifications within 90 days. Strong communication and independent work skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 3 years of road and bridge construction inspection and testing experience, or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain several certifications within 90 days, based on class scheduling.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
• Strong written and verbal communication; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Examine and interpret construction plans, schedules and quantities.
• Support senior project inspectors in construction inspection, surveying and material testing.
• Verify work safety and compliance with plans and specs.
• Perform field data tests and data processing.
• Maintain ethical use of company resources and adhere to policies.
