Job summary

Consor is seeking a Construction Inspector to monitor on-site activities, verify compliance with plans, specs and contract documents for excavations, drainage, road surfaces and structures. You will record daily production rates, coordinate with the contractor's superintendent and agency personnel, and prepare documentation for the final estimate package.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of construction inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• DOT certifications in one or more areas.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, observe, document, and verify work in progress to ensure compliance with project schedule and contract documents.
• Perform complex mathematical calculations and measurements of completed work.
• Maintain inspector's daily report of activities, labor, equipment, and materials.
• Perform on-site material testing and produce as-constructed sketches.
