Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of CEI experience on transportation projects.
• Strong reading of plans and specifications; able to verify conformance.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel and project documentation.
• Familiarity with SiteManager software; Primavera scheduling is a plus.
• DOT specs knowledge and willingness to complete inspector certification courses.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspection and oversight of construction activities under PM guidance.
• Maintain daily reports and detailed records of project progress.
• Read and interpret plans, specs, and applicable standards.
• Verify contract documents meet governmental regulations and project requirements.
• Coordinate material sampling, testing, and verify testing adequacy.
• Verify payment requests and invoicing for completed work.
• Communicate effectively with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project team to support project goals.
