Job summary
Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) is seeking an experienced Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) professional to support transportation projects nationwide from Merriam, KS. You will perform field inspections, maintain daily reports, and coordinate with contractors to ensure work meets plans and standards.
Requirements include a minimum of 10 years CEI experience, familiarity with DOT specifications, and software such as AASHTOWare SiteManager or Primavera.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of CEI experience on transportation projects.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with clients and contractors.
- Familiarity with DOT specifications and standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform field inspection and oversight of construction activities.
- Maintain daily reports and records of project progress.
- Review contract documents for compliance with regulations and plans.
- Coordinate materials sampling and testing and verify testing performed.
- Verify accuracy of payment requests and invoicing for completed work.
- Travel to project sites as needed.
