ALRA Engineers, P.C. is seeking a motivated Construction Inspector to perform inspection services on NYSDOT highway and bridge projects across Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

You will ensure compliance with contract plans, specs, codes and client requirements while maintaining quality, safety and schedule. The role requires reading and interpreting plans, documentation of daily activities, and coordination with the Resident Engineer.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Minimum of two years in construction inspection for infrastructure projects preferred.
• NYSDOT bridge/highway inspection experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Read and interpret plans, specifications and prepare daily reports.
• Review contractor payments and provide comments to Resident Engineer.
• Maintain daily construction documentation and safety compliance.
• Attend meetings and provide project updates.
