Job summary

Responsibilities

• Conducts on-site inspections of construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance projects to verify compliance with design specifications, standards, safety codes and regulations.
• Documents inspection results including deficiencies, deterioration, structural condition, deviations, corrective actions and sampling.
• Review contractor submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and material certifications in coordination with engineers and project management.
• Monitors construction progress; prepares daily reports, deficiency notices, project status reports and technical recommendations.
• Inspects and verifies construction materials and testing processes to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Oversees field construction services ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, quality control and permitting requirements.
