Kinder Morgan is seeking a Field Compression Engineer to join our Northeast Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana field operations. The role focuses on maintaining and improving the reliability of natural gas compression equipment, including reciprocating engines, gas turbines, and centrifugal compressors, through technical expertise and hands-on problem solving.

Based in Malvern, AR or Texarkana, AR, or West Monroe, LA, the position requires up to 50% travel, liaison with vendors, and adherence to

Qualifications

• Requires two years' practical post-degree experience with high-pressure compressor systems.
• Ability to read P&IDs and mechanical drawings.
• Strong engineering fundamentals with safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to support mechanical needs for customers.
• Aid in specifying compressor equipment to optimize performance and reliability.
• Establish vendor relationships for local equipment.
• Travel up to 50% to sites for mechanical support and meetings.
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, control and instrumentation drawings.
