Job summary

Enerstarrentals is seeking a Communications Field Supervisor to lead day-to-day field operations for telecom and connectivity systems across active job sites. You will supervise technicians, support installations, and ensure reliable service delivery in remote environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in communications, telecom, or networking field roles.
• Leadership or supervisor experience preferred.
• Experience with networking, LTE, or satellite systems.
• Cable installation and termination (RJ-45, coaxial).
• Experience with cameras or monitoring systems is an asset.
• Technical certifications such as Network+ or similar (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and support communications technicians across multiple job sites.
• Oversee installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of communications systems.
• Dispatch technicians and coordinate daily field activities.
• Provide hands-on support for rig-ups, rig-downs, and system moves.
• Troubleshoot satellite, LTE, networking, and camera systems.
• Support customers with technical issues and service needs.
• Coordinate with Housing and Power Generation teams.
• Maintain equipment, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Assist with development and deployment of new technologies.
• Ensure safety standards and company policy compliance.
• Track technician hours, performance, and reporting.
