Job summary

Paradromics, Inc. is seeking a Field Clinical Engineer to serve as the in-field technical presence at U.S. clinical sites during early feasibility and first-in-human studies.

You will support safe, reliable use of implantable BCI systems during surgical procedures and neural data collection, traveling as needed and collaborating with clinicians and engineers to capture real-world learnings.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with complex technology in clinical, research, or other human-facing environments.
• Ability to learn and operate technical systems independently.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for clinical audiences.
• Willingness to travel extensively to U.S. clinical sites and operate in high-stakes settings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as in-field technical representative during early feasibility study procedures and neural recording sessions.
• Prepare, configure, calibrate, operate, and breakdown study systems, ensuring readiness for sessions.
• Support design and refinement of neural recording workflows to generate high-quality data.
• Monitor neural signals and system performance in real time; identify issues and escalate as needed.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and signal-quality issues in clinical environments.
