Job summary

Paradromics is seeking a Software Engineer to own the software stack for real-time brain-computer interface data decoding across research and clinical trials in Oakland, CA. You will develop software for the Connexus System and work with scientists, engineers, and quality teams to bring clinical applications to life.

The role focuses on implementing performant decoding algorithms, data curation for neural data, and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent real-world experience.
• 3+ years of professional software experience.
• Proficient in Python.
• Experience with Rust, C++, or Go.
• Familiarity with ML concepts and practitioners.
• Experience with multiple programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for BCI clinical applications.
• Design software to restore communication for Connexus System.
• Realize BCI decoding algorithms as performant software.
• Coordinate with engineering, neuroscience and quality teams.
• Travel between Austin and Oakland offices.
