Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Health Services Assessor to perform medical and behavioral health assessments using standardized tools in accordance with contract requirements. This role requires travel to client sites and a mix of on-site, video, and telephonic assessments.

Responsibilities include documenting outcomes in accordance with HIPAA and Person First standards, and escalating complex cases to senior staff as needed. A Bachelor’s in health or social work and 2+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 2+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in health or social work or related field
• Experience in the human services field
• Willingness to travel 50%+ per week

Responsibilities

• Complete medical and behavioral health assessments using standardized tools
• Conduct on-site, video, and telephonic assessments per program requirements
• Document assessment outcomes accurately and in compliance with HIPAA and Person First standards
• Travel to client locations to perform in-person assessments 50%+ of workweek
• Escalate complex or non-standard cases to senior staff as needed
