Job summary

Heights Tower is seeking a field civil tech for our Illinois market to join a team of technicians performing site prep, civil construction, steel fabrication, and tower erection. You will travel within our coverage area, set equipment, install conduit, and ensure grounding and rebar are installed with precision.

You must be able to travel Monday through Friday with possible weekend work, overtime, and overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (required) and ability to qualify as a company driver.
• Ability to drive a truck and trailer.
• Experience tying down equipment and materials.
• Ability to run a shovel/manual excavator.
• Ability to install conduit.
• Must complete pre-employment checks (background, drug screen, DOT).

Responsibilities

• Dig ditches and pour concrete for site prep.
• Perform civil construction, steel fabrication, and tower erecting.
• Set and mount equipment, install conduit, and install grounding and rebar.
• Edge and broom concrete, operate machinery and tools as directed.
