McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Superintendent - Civil to lead field operations on civil and underground utility projects.

This full-time, site-based role requires extensive travel across the Southern Region and includes travel subsistence and incentives per company guidelines. The role oversees field foremen, coordinates with owners and inspectors, and partners with the Project Manager to ensure safe, on-time, and high-quality construction outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of field leadership experience in underground utility installation.
• Experience with self-perform large scale civil and underground utility projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
• Experience directing and coordinating multiple crews and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of civil construction principles and practices.

Responsabilités

• Lead safety and accident prevention programs on site with regular inspections.
• Schedule and manage multiple crews across the project site.
• Develop site logistics plan and manage materials and equipment budgets.
• Review drawings/specifications and communicate with owners and inspectors.
• Chair weekly subcontractor coordination meetings and maintain short-term schedules.
• Assist Project Engineers with shop drawings, submittals, CPM schedules, and scope of work.
• Support Estimating and Preconstruction efforts as needed.
