Job summary

Ward Getz & Associates LLC (WGA) is hiring a Construction Inspector for our Austin, TX area team. This role supports public infrastructure projects and site/land development work with a focus on quality, safety, and timely reporting.

You will inspect civil construction activities, read plans and specs, manage daily reports, and coordinate with project engineers and managers. Some travel within Central Texas is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive experience in construction inspection, civil engineering, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel in the Central Texas region.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction materials and processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of site work and verify conformance with plans and specs.
• Identify deficiencies and communicate findings to project team.
• Prepare accurate daily reports documenting work, quantities, and progress.
• Attend construction meetings and respond to residents' inquiries as directed.
