WSB is seeking a Construction Inspector in Texas to support inspectors and engineers across transportation projects. You will oversee smaller projects, perform complex inspections, and contribute to contract documentation while ensuring quality and conformance with specifications.

The ideal candidate holds a civil engineering or construction management degree (or equivalent) with TxDOT certifications and several years of transportation experience.

Formación

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field with required experience.
• 5+ years TxDOT experience preferred but not required.
• TXDOT Field Concrete Technician Certification.
• Passing TXDOT CEI Training Group 1.
• Passing TXDOT CEI Training Group 2.
• Passing TXDOT CEI Training Group 3.
• TXDOT WECS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Take charge of construction management duties on smaller projects, from resurfacing to bridge rehabilitation.
• Conduct independent, complex inspections of roadways and structures for contract compliance.
• Lead or supervise routine inspections to ensure consistency and quality.
• Perform intricate calculations and contribute to project success.
• Document contract details with field measurements and related records.
• Participate in project meetings and reviews with stakeholders.

Educación

Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree

Civil Engineering Technology degree (2-yr) or Construction Management (2-yr) with 2 yrs transport experience
