Job summary

Benesch is hiring Civil Construction Engineers to join our field teams across the country. As a Civil Construction Engineer, you will support inspection and documentation of road, water main, and sewer construction projects, gaining hands-on field experience and learning from senior engineers and project managers.

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Construction Engineering (ABET-accredited, EIT) is preferred, with familiarity in ArcGIS, MicroStation, GeoPak, or AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil/Construction Engineering from ABET‑accredited university (EIT)
• Experience on field projects is a plus
• Familiarity with ArcGIS, MicroStation, GeoPak, or AutoCAD
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work within budgets and schedules

Responsibilities

• Inspect and document road, water main, and sewer construction projects in the field
• Gain hands-on field experience and observe construction activities with mentors
