Job summary

Refined Technologies in the Philadelphia area (Rizon) is seeking experienced Chemical Technicians to support on-site chemical services for refinery clients. You will manage chemical applications, calibrate equipment, and resolve customer challenges, ensuring safety and performance standards on every shift.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in refining or chemical plants, with a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain a TWIC card.

Qualifications

2+ years of refining or chemical plant experience.
High School Diploma or GED.
Strong attention to detail and good record keeping habits.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, or be on call, depending on site requirements.
Ability to obtain a TWIC Card.
Associates degree or technical certification (preferred).
Knowledge of chemical dosing systems (preferred).
Lab experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

Chemical Inventory Management.
Equipment Maintenance.
Chemical Deliveries.
Sample Collection.
Lab testing.
Oversee temporary injections (set-up and chemical dosage).
Field Data Monitoring/ updating Rizon App.
Perform sampling, delivery, and related field activities.
Plan and prepare for jobs, including crew instructions and equipment requirements.
Manage the full scope of field operations—job design, execution, and follow-up—ensuring customer satisfaction.
