Job summary

Candidates should have 1+ year in refining or petrochemical settings, lab experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, and a valid TWIC card or ability to obtain one. Detroit-area residency is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in refining, petrochemical or industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, mathematical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in laboratory setting or familiarity with analytical methods and interpretation.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and drive a company vehicle.
• TWIC Card or ability to obtain one.
• Reside within commutable distance to Detroit, MI.

Responsibilities

• Safely manage day-to-day operations of refinery processes, finished fuels, and water treatment programs.
• Manage chemical inventories, deliveries, field sampling, laboratory testing, injection system maintenance and reporting.
• Support development and installation of new systems and designs to apply our chemical products and technologies.
• Collaborate with team members to drive technical solutions and value for customers.
• Identify and coordinate projects to apply our chemicals and programs in the field.
• Monitor and maintain existing programs with reporting on performance of applications.
