Job summary

Marketplace Chaplains is seeking part-time chaplains to support employees and their immediate families at client sites in Allentown, PA. Chaplains will visit worksites weekly, listen with care, and provide confidential counseling and spiritual guidance within a Christian ministry framework.

Responsibilities include coordinating with company leadership, attending funerals if needed, and offering post-termination support to ease transitions.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team in a faith-based setting.
• Strong listening and interpersonal skills with employees and families.
• Ability to provide confidential pastoral discussions and referrals.
• Demonstrated spiritual maturity and commitment to Christian values.
• Ability to communicate clearly with leadership and staff under stress.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Hold an active state driver's license and insurance where serving clients.

Responsibilities

• Visit worksites regularly to build relationships with employees and families.
• Provide pastoral support, guidance, and counseling as needed.
• Assist in planning or attending funerals and grief support.
• Coordinate with executives on care services and client needs.
• Deliver employee orientation about Employee Care Service and Chaplain role.
