Job summary

Marketplace Chaplains is seeking a part-time chaplain to serve employees and their immediate families in the Landsdale, PA area. The role involves regular visits to worksites, providing spiritual care, and supporting employee well-being in a field-based, remote service model.

The chaplain will engage with companies and staff weekly, offering confidential pastoral discussions and crisis support, while coordinating with client leadership to address life issues and bereavement needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to work within an interdisciplinary, interfaith setting.
• Strong listening and communication skills with clients and families.
• Demonstrated Christian faith and ministry alignment.
• Diplomatic, patient, and courteous in diverse groups.
• Proficiency with Google Suites or Microsoft Office.
• Must have active state driver’s license and state minimum auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provides regular visits to company worksites to build relationships with employees.
• Offers confidential pastoral discussions for personal issues of employees and immediate family members.
• May assist in planning or attending funerals and providing grief support.
• Notifies and supports employees and families during serious incidents or changes in employment.
• Supports implementation of Employee Care Services and new employee orientation.
