Job summary

Marketplace Chaplains is seeking a part-time chaplain to serve employees and their families in Lancaster, PA. The chaplain will visit worksites on a regular basis to provide confidential pastoral support, spiritual guidance, and referral services as needed.

Travel to client locations, engage in compassionate conversations, and participate in employee orientation while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and Christian ministry values.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in an interfaith setting and with diverse groups.
• Strong listening and interpersonal skills for confidential discussions.
• Spiritual maturity and commitment to Christian ministry values.
• Professional diplomacy and ability to handle confidential matters.
• Excellent written and oral communication; documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Visit client worksites regularly to build trust with employees.
• Provide confidential pastoral discussions for personal issues.
• Offer literature and resources to assist employees with life challenges.
• Coordinate referrals for specialized employee support.
