Job summary

Egis is seeking a CEI Inspector to support the Kentucky market. The role involves performing field inspections, sampling materials, testing, and ensuring work adheres to plans and specs. You will travel to sites and document inspection findings clearly to engineers and other teams.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in construction inspection, can read plans, and log daily reports, with occasional overnight travel for remote projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction inspection experience, heavy highway/roadway preferred.
• Ability to read plans and specifications.
• Must log daily inspection reports on an IPAD or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs field inspections to ensure standards meet specifications.
• Uses sampling and testing equipment per approved procedures.
• Inspects traffic control and enforces safety standards.
• Documents construction activities and findings promptly.
• Travel to construction sites; some overnight stays possible.
