Job summary

Egis is seeking a CEI Inspector to perform field inspections across the Kentucky market and support testing and sampling activities. The role involves verifying compliance with standards, reading plans, and communicating findings to engineers and peers.

The inspector will travel statewide, potentially overnight for remote projects, and must maintain a clean driving record while using IPAD-based reporting. This position offers a path for growth within a global engineering leader.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction inspection experience.
• General knowledge of construction techniques; ability to read plans and specifications.
• Requires good communication and documentation skills; ability to communicate findings with engineers and inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Performs field inspections and ensures work meets standards and specifications.
• Uses materials sampling and testing equipment and approved procedures.
• Inspects traffic control and helps contractors maintain workplace safety standards.
• Creates timely and succinct documentation of construction activities and inspection findings.
• Operates company vehicle traveling to construction sites or delivering materials samples.
